Position Overview:

The Parent Partner is an essential member of the Parents Supporting Parents (PSP) program team and is part of a local and state effort to elevate parent voice and involvement to support local and state policy and system change. As such, we are seeking passionate and committed individuals who are skilled in the areas of listening, providing guidance, and sharing hope with families in the child protective services (CPS) system. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, sincerity, and a willingness to help others. A Parent Partner will have successfully exited the CPS system after having had their child(ren) placed in out of home care in order to relate to shared lived experience with parents engaged in PSP. A valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance is required.
