From June through August the City of Sturgeon Bay offers a FREE, family-friendly concert in the park series on the corner of 3rd Ave and Oregon Street at Martin Park. The concerts are held on Wednesday nights starting at 7pm. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music; don’t worry there is room enough for some dancing too!

June 16th – Brass Differential
Brass Differential’s sound is steeped in the New Orleans tradition and features a spicy gumbo of musical styles, including jazz, blues, funk, R&B, soul, and hip-hop, among others. What sets Brass Differential apart, however, is its unique horn-centered sound, anchored in the low end by the sousaphone. The group’s live experience promises to please with blistering, abundant solos and prolific attitude.

June 30th – Modern Day Drifters and John Welch Band
Door County’s own 5 piece powerhouse. Playing over 50 years of country hits and all time favorites as well as our own originals.

July 7th – Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns
Big Mouth has been a local band for the past 26 years playing R & B, Horn Band Favorites, Funk and Big Band Music.

July 14th – Cathy Grier and the Troublemakers
A professional musician since 1978, Cathy Grier’s undeniably powerful voice accompanied by tasty Blues guitar stylings, both acoustic and electric, affirms her place on the world stage.

July 21st – The Missiles the music of Neil Young
The band mixes rock, folk, soul, and blues in a sound that will appeal to fans of artists such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Hiatt, and Van Morrison.

July 28th – The Third Wheels
With an eclectic collection of music as a base, we love entertaining in all situations. We rock out on songs from the 90’s, and are always expanding our collection of top 40 songs, but none of that means we don’t know the classics. Versatility for us is key, and we can’t commit to just one type of music because we like it all.

August 4th – Alive Again Chicago Tribute
“Alive Again: The Chicago Project” came together to honor the timeless music of the band Chicago. We are made up of diverse musicians from Northeast and Central Wisconsin who share a common passion: Keeping the music of Chicago alive!
