This festival puts the “eek!” in Fish Creek! A true, hometown Halloween festival, Jack O’ Lantern Days will entertain little witches and goblins of all ages. Highlights include a festive costume contest, town hall games, town-wide trick-or-treating, a costume parade, mask making and so much more! Thrills on Third – Sturgeon Bay   

Ghosts, witches, zombies- oh my! Watch out for the spooky characters you may come across during the 7th annual Thrills on Third event happening throughout the historic Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay on Saturday, October 27. The fun filled day begins at 9am where there will be plenty of family-friendly activities.

FUN & SPOOKY HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES

Head over to the Boys and Girls Club of Door County from 9-11am where they will be hosting a free pumpkin painting activity.

Kids are welcome to paint and decorate pumpkins on a first-come, first-served basis. Over a hundred small-medium sized pumpkins will be provided and sponsored by Artists Guild.

Participants are encouraged to bring a canned good for donation. The decorated pumpkins will be placed along the parade route until 3pm. Also taking place at the Boys and Girls Club of Door County is their spine-chilling haunted house.

Walk through the haunted house from 10am-1pm. Beginning at 11am, the Boys and Girls Club will be grilling and selling hot dogs, hamburgers, lemonade, chips, and popcorn.

Don’t forget to get your hands dirty in an ooey gooey slime making session at the Door County Library any time from 9am-12pm.

COSTUME PARADE

Parade participants should gather at Martin Park, 207 S. Third Avenue, at 12:45pm for costume judging. The costume parade is open to all, including pets. Floats are not permitted.

At 1pm, all participants will march down Third Avenue to Community Foundation Square, at the corner of Third Ave. and Kentucky St. Awards for first, second, and third place best costumes will be awarded by Miss Door County’s Outstanding Teen, Ashley Ellefson. A prize for the best pet costume will also be awarded.

After the parade, participants are encouraged to walk along Third Avenue to take part in trick-or-treating at participating businesses until 3pm.

Thrills-on-Third_Slime-FB-eventDoor County Library – Make Green Slime – Sturgeon Bay 
9am-12pm (Noon) in the Basement
For kids age 12 and younger to create (and take home) a handful of slithery SLIME!
A craft table, instructions and supplies will be available in the basement of the library. Beth, the children’s librarian, will be on hand to assist, but parents are encouraged to supervise their children.  Visit doorcountylibrary.org for more information.


Door County Boys & Girls Club  – Sturgeon Bay
The Boys and Girls Club of Door County is excited to be a part of Thrills on Third again this year! We have some great activities planned for the whole family!
9AM – 11AM     Pumpkin Painting in the Art Room
10AM – 1PM   Haunted House on 2nd Floor
11AM – 1PM     Grill out Fundraiser Community Room & Front Yard Bake Sale

Halloween In the Harbor – Baileys Harbor 
Trick or treating in town (5-8pm), with a party in the Town Hall (5:30-7pm). The party features costume contests (6:30pm) and a scavenger hunt, games, and more. Hot dogs, snacks and beverages available. Visit baileysharbor.doorcounty.com for more information.


Halloween Party – Sister Bay Liberty Grove Fire Department  
A night featuring games and prizes. Parents are welcome. Sponsored by the Sister Bay Lions Club.

Mark your calendars! Our annual Hope Church Halloween pizza 🍕 party 🎉 is back again for its 10th year!!! It’s a celebration for the whole community to enjoy! Relax with friends after trick-or-treating in the neighborhood… We’ll have the food, family friendly movies, music & spooky-good vibes ready for you! 👻 

Feel free to use our church parking lot to trick-or-treat before/after dinner with us! 🎃

Free-will donations towards the food will be greatly appreciated! This year, like previous years, we will offer & bake a wide variety of pizza pies from Papa Murphy’s (including their vegetarian & gluten free options).
