Door County Community Wide Meetings About Housing On the Calendar for May 2019

Door County Economic Development Cooperation (DCEDC), in partnership with municipalities, private companies, and local foundations, lead a comprehensive countywide housing study in 2018. DCEDC contracted with consulting firm AECOM, to focus on understanding and developing ideas for housing in Door County: Attainable (economically diverse), workforce (including seasonal), and senior housing.

The results are in and the DCEDC is hosting three community-wide meetings to share the outcomes of the 2018 housing study. As stated on the event flyer, “A presentation will include review of these complex issues and the people affected, the results of the recently completed Door County Housing Study, and solutions being pursued. Interactive discussion will follow.”

Sister Bay Village Hall – Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 6:30pm
Sturgeon Bay High School Auditorium – Wednesday, May 29, 2019 @ 6:30pm
Southern Door Auditorium – Thursday, May 30, 2019 @ 6:30pm
