The Door County Partnership for Children and Families (DCPCF) was able to provide a taste of what a Block Party is all about with attendees of the Door County Fair this year! Both local resident, and visiting families, got a chance to play with blocks and see how much fun it is! Volunteer Play Assistants reported how great it was to see parents creating teachable moments with their children and how to share with other children. One Illinois mom reported she is a Girl Scout leader in her town and enjoyed the activity so much she wants to bring Block Parties to her area!
Culvers provided free ice cream coupons for each child who participated which provided a sweet ending to a great time!
