Sturgeon Bay classes are held at DCMC in the Sheldon Room (down the hall from the ER) on Tuesdays starting January 16, 2018 for ages 4-7 and on Wednesdays starting January 17, 2018 for ages 8-12.

The Art for Health program is a series of FREE workshops for children, ages 4-7 & 8-12 years old, that focuses on health, music and art, using performance, demonstrations and other fun activities with popular regional & local visual and performing artists as facilitators. These classes strengthen each participant’s relationship with art and emphasize how creativity in a child’s life contributes to their overall health. Plus, they’re just plain old fun!

DCMC Art for Health program is comprised of a group of area musicians and visual artists. Participation in the Performing & Visual Arts helps to build character in children. It allows them to be naturally creative while teaching responsibility, team building, and self-building. It enhances listening and focusing skills, creating goal initiatives that nurture their self – esteem and overall health.

Each Art for Health session runs for five consecutive weeks. Participants can choose a Tuesday (ages 4-7) or a Wednesday (ages 8-12) class. The first session begins Tuesday, January 16 and Wednesday January 17 and runs through Feb 13 & 14 in Sturgeon Bay at DCMC.
