Boys & Girls Club of Door County

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF DOOR COUNTY MISSION

To inspire all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Five Key Elements for Implementing an Outcome-Driven Club Experience:

A Safe, Positive Environment

We provide a safe environment both physically and emotionally with structure and clearly defined acceptable behaviors.

Fun

We generate fun for all members. By offering 15 different club selections weekly, members can cultivate new skills and explore their passions.

Supportive Relationships

Youths have the opportunity, and are encouraged to develop, meaningful relationships, giving them a sense of connection to club staff and members.

Opportunities and Expectations

Through high-yielding club activities and targeted programs club members acquire new life skills, explore new areas of interest, further develop talents, and realize greater academic achievement. An expectation of ethical behavior and good citizenship are reinforced.

Recognition

We recognize and affirm our members’ self-worth and accomplishments through our Member Recognition Board. Member of the Year Award, and during TRIBE meetings.
